COLLECTIVE PASSION
The shared emotional energy and collective passion is what makes the Old-School Musical Foundation different from other companies: a force to be reckoned with. Our power lies in the ability to create shows with individuals who share the love for the theatre by uniting them into one coherent whole. The spirit that ignites when performing on stage is the driving force of all our performances. We believe that great shows come to be when you perform as a unity. However, within this unity everyone has the room to be who they are and explore and develop their own talents and abilties. Sue Chaloner is not only the creative mind behind the shows, but also has laid the basis of the philosophy of the Foundation.
All shows have been created, directed and choreographed by Sue Chaloner.

REVUE
At SAIL Amsterdam 2015 the OSMF presented a part of the performance 'Window of a Child'. This performance tells the story of a young pirate in a world of hardships, love and revenge. It takes you back to the 17th century and illustrates how children in that age of time had to deal with the life-threatening forces of piracy.
A unique insight in the passions of the students to become a professional artist. They share their passion for the theatre and show what is needed to become a professional artist in the Performing Arts industry.
For TEDXYouth@Amersfoort the performance 'Unbeatable' has been programmed. 'Unbeatable' revolves around (cyber)bullying. For a broad group of children bullying is part of their daily life. Everyone has a different background and story, which plays a significant role in the life of both the bully and the bullied one. You will be invited into an intriguing story expressed with dance, drama and vocals.
In the 'Christmas Special' the collective passion is united into a spritual choir. Sung from the 'soul' they take you into an authentic world where the Christmas spirit speaks.
The main theme of TEDxYouth@Nijmegen was 'Velocity of the Future'. How does the young generation deals with the fast technologies of today and the rapidly changing society? The OSMF expressed the theme about technology and the youth from a theatrical perspective. What is the influence of the current technology on the lives of the youngsters today?
